Please.... help I think I

Whhhyyyy!!!! Shaking fist in the air....

am seriously addicted to this crap......these are the ones that I buy at the grocery store I also receive at home delivery of - Oh...... God..... help me Star, US Weekly and Life & Style. I know exactly what day they are placed on the display racks at the market.  I am like a fly to a pile of crap I cannot keep away. I love to read about Bradgelina and their brood of many kids. I love to see Jennifer Anniston once again chase away a boyfriend with her alleged "neediness".  I can't help but laugh at all the Bachelorette Drama {folks that is one reality show I have never watched} but I still love to read about it. Don't get me started on the Real Housewives and Jersey Shore. How many times can we spot the "baby bump" and watch those same mommy's loose the baby weight in like a day....What is their secret? And how can I forget about  the "Who wore it better"page. Come on folks that is allot of entertainment for a few bucks a week....lol

My hubby said to me the other day..."WOMAN {in his funny sarcastic way} you have a few issues with these things...... might be becoming a bit of a problem....All these tabloids look exactly the same as he lines them up side by side..... it looks like they are running the same story they just moved the pics around. How can you read this shit? I looked at him with a blank look on my face and I could not give him one intelligent answer. Huh.....because I can was just going to cut it. I am sure that I could be spending my money allot more wisely...But I can't be the only one reading this stuff ......because people...... these rags sell like hot cakes at the store.

Do I suck as a person because I read this crap?  Do I need help?  I think not because I totally accept that this is one of my "dirty little secrets". Shhhhh

Hey, Woman.

Okay, not a comment on today's topic, because I forced myself to give all of this stuff up when I was 19. (Not a slight toward you or anyone over the age of 21 who reads them, because yes, there are millions out there who do. I just can't get caught up in all that crap because I know most of it is lies and rumors and evilness. Well, okay, that's how I see it. And I may tease, but I don't judge those who read them.)

I actually wanted to comment on one of your Obsession of the Week, specifically RVing across the country. TAKE ME WITH YOU! I'll babysit anytime you want! Seriously, when I win the lottery, that's one of the first travel things I want to do. After Australia and a family reunion, I want to travel the country with my kitties and see all the places I've always wanted to visit - Grand Canyon, the deserts in AZ, the greenery in New England, the Great Mississippi, the blue skies over Montana, all of it. I have a several-years-old guidebook at home put out by National Geographic (I think?) called Highways and Biways (Byways?) of the US, and I want to see every one of them. I want to go through every state, and spend 2-4 weeks in each one (depending on how much is there that I want to see). I've wanted to do that for YEARS. So no, you are most definitely not crazy for wanting to just take off and tour the United States of America. There is much beauty to be seen. I know, maybe you think the crazy part is leaving everything you know, all your friends and family. But likely they'll all be here when you return, even if you eventually find another place you want to settle down for a while or forever. And you can always plan ahead and have friends meet you in various places along your trip, so they can go someplace they've always wanted to go, and you can spend some time with someone you love, other than your hubby and LDG and the animals.

Anyway, just wanted to tell you you are most definitely not crazy. Unless, of course, I am too. Which, now that I think about it, isn't out of the realm of possibilities...

Love you!
Chloe

ROFL!! I am glad I am not the only one that loves these wretched magazines! I have stopped reading the glossy ones in the newstands and now subscribe to them on my NookColor (*love* that thing) I do not think I have the same obsession that you do - but I do enjoy some good celebrity trash. :-D

BTW - thank you for the visit to my blog. You asked what kind of dog was in the picture on my post: she is a mutt. We were told she is a Catahoula/Mastiff mix; however, as we get to know her I believe she is a Boxer/Great Dane mix. Great Dan because she is so lean (not as thick as mastiffs) and boxer -- well, because she boxes when she play fights, that and she has a big of an under bite that looks a little boxer like :-)

I found you on Mom Bloggers Club after you commented on my post, so I came to check you out :)
I am a total sucker for these magazines! My mom and I will chat about the celebrities like they are the black sheep of our family, haha. I don't buy any- I get them after my mom is done. I enjoy every bit of gossip.
I am not much of a drama person in life. I stay out of family fights and don't take sides, I never fight with my friends. But give me a magazine and I happily (and safely) get my fill of drama (girl's gotta get it somewhere!).
