Have you noticed that.....

Gotcha!

once you become a mom, mommy, mama and the ever dreaded {future} "MOTHER" that nothing you own or do is sacred anymore?  I have not taken a shower by myself since my LDG turned 12 months and started too stand on her own in the bathtub/shower. She knows how to take her clothes off un Velcro her diaper and she is ready for a water party.  My friends ask me why I do not lock the bathroom door, because my bathroom door has no lock we removed it when my little demon decided it would be..Ohhhh....let's seee.... so much fun to lock mommy out while she went through all my cosmetics - RIP Laura Mercier Lip Glaze in Bare Beige and Chanel Les 4 Ombres is Vanites....Auughhhh!

I have sat on the toilet doing my business while my toddler and 2 big ass dogs watch{I know creeeeepy}.
I love to cook & bake but I have had to become a gymnast in order to mine field my way around spilled blocks, pans and cooking utensils. Have you noticed that as mommy's all we do is pick up shit? Day and night all we do is pick up crap from the floor? Pfft...... then my hubby wonders why I am cranky when he gets home..!!!

My dresser drawers have become a circus of fun for my little one and chaos for OCD mommy. She has  found her way to my sacred, sacred purse closet and tossed out every pair of earrings and accessories as far as the eye can go! Last night all was quite on the second floor, so I knew something was aims and lo and behold there was my little bundle of sweetness amongst half of my ballet flats she decided to remove from my closet. Gotcha you little bugger.....Ahh the joys of motherhood!

By the way stop over to the Keepin' Company Thursday Blog Hop

I get sooooo tired of trying to shave while showering with a 2 year old, or speeding through my makeup because if she sees me she wants a face full. That's the life of a mommy!

My child does not like leaving mommy alone. I swear, if I'm in the bathroom peeing she is in the bathroom playing with a box of tampons or fiddling with makeup.

She watches me do everything so she knows how to rub lotion onto her arms and legs, how to rub her wrists together after putting on perfume, where blush goes, where eyeshadow goes, and of course, LIPSTICK!! 16 months old and I have a fashionista diva. I wouldn't mind so much but um...its MY stuff. :(

I'll eventually get over it. I hope.

Happy I found you here!

Thanks for mentioning Keepin' Company Thursdays. I think I'm a follower of yours now but I'm not positive because Google is acting goofy. I hate to tell ya, but it doesn't get better with age. My teenage daughters still come in the bathroom while I'm in there to do whatever it is they need to do. And my husband doesn't know how to keep out either. Luckily, my boys have some respect and stay out.

G'day, I can so understand where you are coming from! My youngest is 2 and I have 3 older kiddies and I am can't wait till my youngest hits 4, that's when kiddies tend to want to do their own thing, well mine did anyway. However, my oldest is 10 and she still wants to be attached to me, when she is in a good mood!! Well in couple of years I will want to hang out with her and she won't want to hang out with me!! The circle of motherhood!!! I'm a new follower on GFC and found you on weekend blog hop til you drop:) Love ya stuff!!!

Hi, thanks for linking up with us at the Thoughtful Thursday blog hop. Hope you join us again next week!

Yep, being a mommy definitely involved lots of picking up shit and the likes. Literally AND figuratively ;) Oh, the joy of motherhood! lol

My daughter especially liked to get her hands on all of my nail polish. Most of them are unusable now. Some she spilled (oh and you know how hard it is to get rid of spilled nail polish!), some she didn't close properly so they dried up and I couldn't open the bottles anymore. *sigh*

Hope you have some time to follow back. You can find me at: http://dosweatthesmallstuffblog.blogspot.com/
