Oh man I just.....

realized that it has come time to reel in my potty mouth. My hubby and I were sitting around last night and he looked and me and said in his most serious conversation voice.

"Honey I love ya and all but in the span of a 10 minute conversation, you dropped the F bomb about 15 times." I looked at him and said shut the f*** up I did not!"
Oh..... my oh my at that point I realized that I do have one serious truck driver mouth and it is time to clean it up. My little one is now at the point were she is repeating everything she hears and it would really SUCK if the first word she shouts out while were in the middle of a very quite Dr.'s office {cuz it would never be at the loud park or anything} would be the F Bomb*.  OMG...I am hyperventilating just thinking about it. Can you imagine the "looks" I would get from the good mommy's, when  bad mommy {that would be me} was trying not to laugh in the corner....because come on we have all heard a kid drop a bad word somewhere in our lifetime and most of  us have found it funny...I know...I know ***shaking my head***** it's wrong but it's so true...Let's keep it real!

This one is going to be hard...not gonna lie....I love my family but we have a habit of dropping the F bomb*along with a stream of other lovely bwords when we get together for an event/dinner it is like the set of the friggin Godfather a wholla lotta cussing, yelling and eating. That is just us.....

However things must change - I have made it a point and a goal not to cuss in front of my lovely daughter or for that matter to try and stop cussing period....I am going to make an old fashion cuss jar...Every time I drop one... in goes Mr. dollar bill.  I am.... sure......that jar will fill up in no time at all. Hey...it worked when I quit smoking and with the money I saved in that jar I purchased myself a Gucci Handbag..So it can't be to bad...right?

Happy Monday......

LOL! That's so funny. I have managed to reign mine in but it was my husband who pointed my potty mouth out to me too!

Stopping by from the Monday hop, new follower!

How funny! My hubby is working on his swearing now that our daughter is a year old, she'll be picking up on words in no time and I'd like her to not learn the F bomb loL!

Can totally relate! I had to change my potty mouth ways too when the kids got old enough to repeat. But now that they are teenagers, and I hate to admit this, I am back to my bad habits. They hear much worse outside the home I'm sure. I wrote an essay on having a potty mouth but am still editing it so haven't put it on my blog yet. I am amazed how many of moms have this affliction!

Hey girl - good luck and don't think about saving up for a Louis Vuitton! That's a LOT of cuss words. One time my daughter from the back seat of the car said "Jesus Christ!" I didn't even realize I was saying that!!! I'm a new follower from Finding New Friends weekend hop. Hope you follow back.

Thanks for stopping by and following Edge of Insanity! I am following you back!

I may be young but I used to have a potty mouth like a sailor. In fact, if I got angry, I couldn't go one conversation without more than a few choice words. I finally realized I needed to stop, especially if I was in public or around my friends' children.

Its hard but I prefer the F bomb when other words don't seem to sufficiently describe the feeling.

Feeling the love......
