I used to look....

somewhat cute and pretty presentable in my past life{BB - before baby}, but in the last few months I have taken a step into the yoga pant whirlpool and I cannot seem to get out of it. I used to work in the fashion industry before becoming a SAHM so this whole black yoga pant thing is kinda getting to me. I used to sport some great looking designer gear, hair all nice, make up always on and it is really pissing me off that I have gotten off this path...but what is a mama supposed to do? I mean really...I get up...get into my work out gear, work out, run errands right after the gym, run to some LDG activity,  get home, get the lunch ready for LDG, shower then I am right into yoga pants. I could get into my nice jeans and tops...but for what? So I can cook/bake and get all my really nice clothes dirty with eggs and EVOO stains...don't think so! I mean I do not look like a total wreck but I am not as spiffy as I would want to look.

Maybe because as a mom your always tired, add the taking care of hubby/house/2 dog/dad {I do not know how working moms do it} it can kind of get to you sometimes and you just do not feel like primping up to stay at home....I know I should look "pretty" for hubby but you know  what we have been together for 12 years he married me for better of for worse and sometimes he is just going to have to take the worst....I am wondering how I am going to snap out of this? Auuggggghhhh am I doomed to be in yoga pants forever?

Once LDG is in School, you'll get yourself back. Think of everything as a phase. You get through one, then you're onto the next :)
