There is a difference between....

a little clutter and being a dirty ass person....period. I am unable to sleep this early morning, could be that my happy mom ass feel asleep on a Saturday night.... at 8:00.  YES people 8:00 wtf  has happened to my life?  Anyways,  I get up and I am watching Clean House New York. Now I had promised hubby that I would stop watching these type of shows...Why..... because I get really heated, I yell and have full conversations with the TV thinking the perky hosts will hear me bitch out the folks on the show. Also seeing the disgusting messes that some of these people live in gives me anxiety. This morning they had a couple with 2 small children living in a 900 sq foot apartment in NY and it was disgusting. Their was shit everywhere. Garbage bags with food in it just stinking away. How the f*ck do you do this when you have small children? Your an adult with responsibility get your shit together and do what you need to do to provide a safe and clean environment for you kids.  How can you smell garbage that has been sitting in your home for weeks and not take it out? Because your friggin LAZY! I am not saying you have to be all Martha Stewart and shit but come one! They had a mother and daughter team - poor teenage daughter was living in filth and she wanted a change. They had so much dog pee/feces  in the house that the hardwood floor was moist....who can live with dog shit smell in their house? They had a massive {I am talking massive} infestation of bed bugs, the mother still did not want to get rid of her nasty ass FURNITURE with these critters living in it.  I get that people get attached to stuff..I am attached to my handbags but you better believe it if they found a colony of bed bug condos in my bags they would be chucked.
There is no excuse for this! Disgusting
I understand that some of these cases have to do with hoarding and that is a mental health issue but some of these people too me come off as just plain unmotivated and lazy. Taking care of a household requires day to day operation in order to keep it clean and clutter free. I do this shit everyday I know. Listen folks I used to live in a 540 sq foot apartment in SF with hubby and it was never messy we had to make sure that we were super organized because we had such little space, so I know it could be done.
Oh...yo now they are featuring another place that is so wrong....OK girl step away from the style network....Time to take the pooches for a walk so they can do their business.... outside!

*BTW Kevin Costner you suck as an actor......

That is totally disgusting!! I tend to stay in the middle of this. I am not a "clean freak" so my house does look live in and your WILL see dog hair and toys all over the place! :) But to have trash lying around, dirty dishes everywhere and just to be so unsanitary? Freaking disgusting! o.O Makes me wanna vomit! :P

Yes, hoarding is a mental issue, but yea, keeping your kitchen like THAT? I don't get it either. That photo made me sick. Maybe it's mental too. It has to be.

Those shows literally make my skin crawl. I can't comprehend how people can live in such nastiness either. And I never understand why they don't just send the nutters off on some extended vacation and them throw all their crap away! Why try to talk them into changing first?! Just throw their nastiness AWAY and give their kids a chance! UGH!

Thanks for linking up for #SundayFunday over at the The Fence!

I have banned my husband from watching the show Hoarders because it puts him in a shitty ass mood and then I have to deal with him nit-picking about everything little that's not perfectly in it's place around the house!

Was it Kevin's house? lol
I know, those shows give me a new found appreciation of my own home, they freak me out how incredibly lazy they are!! Poor kids, they don't deserve to live that way :(

Ewww....I can't handle those types of shows. The hoarding stuff is bad enough, but the animal hoarders make me want to punch them in the cunt....And then they are sitting there holding on to a broken mug covered in cat pee going, "I can't throw this away! I might NEED this some day."

I used to watch the clean house shows but not anymore. I couldn't stand seeing all the crap and flith people live in, especially when they have kids. And the hoarding shows ...well forget it, they are even worse.

Feeling the love......
