Certain members of society...

should not be allowed a right to own a pet..period!
Last night I was catching a rerun of the highly addicting show Teen Mom - I am not going to make excuses for watching this show - As you know I love me some "Reality TV" and this one I have been watching from the beginning.

So I was reading a bit and watching TV {see once again I am multitasking}when I heard an annoying "twang" coming from my TV -
"I am getting sick of this dog and it is allot more work than I thought it would be". At that point my head snapped back and I was like...WTH is this shit. I watch as Farrah {the most annoying/spoiled of the group - if I had ever thought of speaking the way she speaks to her parents I would have lost my 2 front teeth}. There she is on national TV  - man handling the poor animal like it was a piece of play doh and just being mean while complaining about the dog pooping in the house. NOOooo really Farrah.... WTF do you expect the dog to do it you do not walk it?  Did you expect the dog to get up, walk itself to the bathroom newspaper under his paw to do it's own business? Really are you that much of a dumb ass? Because last time I checked dogs were supposed to be walked by their owners?!?  You trained a toddler to use the toilet I bet if you took some time to train the dog and actually walked the poor animal he too would know what to do. So.... Farrah just gave the dog up like it was no big deal to her next door neighbor. I thank God at least it is now in a good home were someone is actually going to love and take care of the dog.

This is were it all started!
I immensely dislike.....Nope I am not going to be PC about this -  I hate...yes hate people that buy/adopt animals and do not take the time to research and make sure they are ready for a dog.  And when the novelty wears off or the work gets too be to much they just abandon the creatures. I have seen this so many times. Wooooo I wanna a cute little puppy I will look so cool carrying/walking the dog I cannot wait.
Oh no.... you mean I have to actually take care of the puppy. I have to feed, walk and stay up with it during the night when they have the runs or not feeling well...You mean I have to take it to a vet for shots and medicine? I actually have to spend time training the pup? Yep it is just like a newborn except the dog has fur. I have 2 fur monkeys and I would have more if I had a bigger place and a whole lotta land {city living no space}. Fur monkey #1 came to me via a wedding present and we got her from a reputable breeder and fur monkey #2 was a rescue.  When we got her she was malnutrition, sick and scared. For the first few months I slept on the couch with her because she was scared to go upstairs.  It took us almost 3 1/2 years to get her comfy with her environment but you can still see in her mannerisms that whatever the poor dog went through it was harsh. But with lots of love she has made it through. That is why it baffles me when people like Farrah do the things that they do. {I know she purchased the little dog from a pet store} - Huge no no for me. I have seen were some of these poor pups come from and whoever is thinking of/or is still purchasing dogs from a pet store - do your research before you do so. I am not saying all pet stores get their pups from puppy mills but quite a few of them do.

These are creatures that are meant to be loved and cared for they are not accessories for the jet set or to be carried around dressed in a pink sweat suit {Halloween is an exception but even then I try to  limit to a head band}.  Think long and hard before you decide to bring home a dog/cat/bird/hamsters ect..it takes a person who knows the meaning of  true responsibility to be a pet owner.

I will now get off my soap box.....Sorry but I needed to vent!

Thanks for the reality check! My dog pooped four times this morning at the dog park, ate the baby's bagel and knocked over my cup of coffee. He may be annoying, but he's part of our annoying family.

I saw that show yesterday and was thinking the exact same thing. And did you see the way she was picking it up by the scruff of it's neck??? My best friend has a rescue organization for dogs in Puerto Rico called Island Dog. www.islanddog.org
These dogs just break my heart.

I would like to pick her up by the scruff of her skinny neck and see how she likes it.

I love my dog baby. A lot. I consider him my first born. I couldn't imagine just getting annoyed at him and being like, "Hey neighbor you want a dog?" That isn't fair to the poor animal. :(

From what I've seen Paris Hilton DOES take care of her dogs and if she can't she pays people to. They aren't mistreated but I too, HATE, when people use dogs as accessories!!

LOL! I can't stand that stupid Farrah! I halfway expect her to get sick of Sophia at some point and try to pawn her off on one of the neighbors!

At least her mom did what I've always wanted to do: Punch her in the face!

Thanks again for visiting my blog! I am now following you back!

Feeling the love......
