I have joined a cult.....

How, when, what the hell...when did this happen? When did I get sucked into the Lululemon vortex? I never thought I would be one of those women. I never thought that I would spend that much on a pair of work out pants. I was fine working out with my standard uniform of black yoga pants and whatever t shirt was on sale at old navy and/or my old rocker shirts -Hello Metallica Tour T circa 1988! I mean who the hell drops $98.00 for some wo pants -my dumb ass did and you know what I would do it again! {which I did about an hour later}.

For some reason I was always very intimidated by the brand. Why you may ask?....Because I live in the land of the uber fit. People in these neck of the woods are super active -hiking, biking {huge}, and just overall health freaks. Which BTW is totally awesome because it keeps me motivated to stay active. In my whole existence this is the most active I have ever been. My past activity levels consisted of lifting the martini glass of the bar, how fast I could run in heels and how many hours I could shop/party/work in a row.

I had been to the our local Lululemon store many times my hubby is a huge fan. He loves the product, the fit and the fabric. I was always yeah..yeah what is so different with their fabric that is not in all other of the self wicking fabrics for the work out set. So I always dismissed the brand. The other day I was walking with LDG at the local little downtown area were I live and for some reason the big purple {which kinda} looks like a crooked horseshoe but is in fact a stylized A was calling out to me. Maybe it is because I finally lost all the baby weight plus 20 pounds {20 more to go for vanity} that I finally felt I was ready to face the demon? Mmmm...maybe?

Number 1 reason I had never tried on the stuff is because I thought my ass was to big for the brand. Now do not get me wrong my ass is not huge but based on the sizes that walk into this place you automatically assume that this brand is for the fit and mode/actress/I can save the world from hunger peeps.   I was sucked in and right of the bat I had this really super nice clerk help me, I explained her about my hesitation of the brand sizing, she looked me up and down and was like you will have no problem fitting into the pants. As sad as this sounds it made me fool good. Like the hard work I had put in was finally paying off. I got my pants, was taken to the dressing room and I then proceeded to try on the pants.

Oh.....oh.....my.....what the hell is this magical feeling.....So soft...so tight but not constricting I feel like my skin is breathing. I can bend over without things falling out and oh wait a minute what is that holy shit the length is long enough that it falls perfectly over the work out shoe...Oh....my...and my ass.... looks fantastic... and I am........ sooooo sold!!!!!

I buy two pairs {the astro & the studio} I have worked out in the astro and let me tell you this shit works whatever magical technical fabric they have invented friggin rocks.  These pants are it and I am the first to admit that all those skinny bitches at the gym were right.......

*skinny bitches* is used in a loving humor way not in an evil bitch sort of way...just an fyi ;0)

I'm so jealous that you've been able to lose the baby weight plus some. I kept the baby weight plus some. LOL

I love my Lulu Lemon. I bought my first two pairs when PREGNANT for comfort so no excuses for non fit people to wear them!!

Yeah...I don't think I could ever stomach spending $98 on workout pants - but YOU GO GIRL! Unfortunately with 2 little ones, I need to spend money on a therapist instead of workout pants ;)

New follower!

Awesome, glad you found out about Lulu. I've got many pants, tops, hoodies, and two jackets. But I think living in the Lulu birth city I feel I have to. I had no idea Lulu was in Cali.

Feeling the love......
