What a Waste Wednesday ....Week 1

So as was saying last week it is time that I put my happy ass on a budget. After seeing the amount waste and damage dollar wise we were doing on a monthly basis as a family it put allot shit into perspective and it was time to put on eeekkkk brakes! So every week on Wednesday I will feature items that we have decided to take a closer look and our solution. After printing out our monthly expenses some things I wanted to see and others I would rather choose to ignore but cannot any longer. The first item on the attack/change is our.....Beeeeppppppppppp....OK I just had to kick start my heart........our

Grocery Bill

I knew that we SUCKED in this area but HOLY shit last month alone...OK please people do not judge or think we are nutso - $2,000.....Mmmmm.....yep you got that right........NOT a typo. I am not proud of this at all*shaking head*. This is just food, this is not including toilet paper, diapers and all that other crap {we will tackle that next week} that comes with the household. Yes this is what happens when you do not

  •    Make weekly menus {got off track}
  •    Do not make/stick to a grocery list
  •    Cranky toddler + nap time = not checking the prices
I am the first to admit we are super spoiled when it comes to food we buy only organic and all our meat comes from a butcher {we do not eat allot of red meat so when we do we like to get grass fed}. We spend allot of money on fish cuz LDG loves loves fish and I would rather her eat fresh fish then processed frozen fish sticks.  We shop at high end grocery stores {Hello Whole "paycheck" Foods}. We entertain quite a bit an we never ever do things half assed. It is time to make some changes and it is time to put a stop to it.

Hubby and I have decided that from now on instead of me doing the grocery shopping alone with curious, antsy toddler he would join my and we will do the shopping on Saturday. This will make it sooo much easier for me to take the time to compare prices, use coupons and stay on point. I will be starting my menu list up again and adding only the items I need for the week. I would LOVE to take advantage of the buy one get one free at our local Safeway however because we live in the city we have limited storage space. We do not have a garage, we do not have a back yard and we do not have the extra square footage to stock pile shit.....I did however take a look at our attic space and with a little get ride of stuff  and organizing I will be able to put up some shelves and stock the larger paper products. I do not buy actual food in bulk maybe some cereals but most of our food is fresh I just need to make sure that I spend $5.00 on cheese instead of $25.00.

This is getting me back on track and I feel allot more organized it is also already making a positive change in our budget. As a SAHM one of my jobs is too make sure we stay on track. Below is what I spent this week compared to last week

Grocery {food only} bill last week - $369.96 - yep
Grocery {food only} this week -      $161.00
                                                       $208.96 this is a WEEK

Next week I will be taking advantage of the health department at Safeway - get a flu shot you get a 10% coupon to use towards your grocery bill...Woot Woot....
Watch out Coupon Suzy there is a new sheriff in town.......

Happy Hump Day!

Geeze enough with the Sex.......

Hey construction on my page is being done so please bear with me as this is going on things will be moving around but we should hopefully be back to "normal" by the end of today...I hope!

Tapes already. When did it become OK to pimp your shit out on a friggin sex tape. When did it become OK to be OK/and sometimes proud of a sex tape? WTF? Really. A headline popped up this am while I was reading the news that a sex tape of Tupac has surfaced and their is a bidding war for which company will be whoring buying the right to release. Now....I am in no way a prude,  it is not the sex that bothers me - whatever tickles your pickle you are an adult so if you are stupid enough to have yourself video taped while having sex then that is your business but be ready to reap the wrath when it is so called "leaked" and don't play this bull shit innocent I was taken advantage shit. In this day and age of social media  - twitter, FB, blogs and such you know that even if you have a little bit of notoriety the "sex tape" will make you into a famous 2 bit reality star - Hello Kim Kardashidunk and Paris Hitthis Hilton.

I mean here is a perfect example of someone doing "baby....no one is ever going to see it but us sex tape, " she sues in order not to have the tape released, I think Vivid offers her a shit load of money to have it released -  BLAM no hard work, no real skills {well out in the work force skills} AND because of this sex tape and her so called friendship with Paris Hilton- {Pfft....another shinning star - I hope you hear the drip of sarcasm in my voice}....BOOM  we were hit with Kim K overload, she is all over the damn place and we cannot seem to get rid of her and her obnoxious {I admit I like Khloe} family. Hey...Mama Jenner saw $$$ on her ample daughters ass and she rode that fame wave and now they are pulling in 65 million a year being famous for not being famous and I don't blame her one bit. I guess what pisses me off more than anything is that some of these skanks ladies are held up as role models in our society and I just do not get it. Whatever happened to going to school, doing the right thing and working hard?...I am so scared that by the time my daughter is in her  tween stage a sex tape will be the norm. It scares the crap out of me......

No so silent Monday............

I decided that for Monday's I am going to feature a picture much like Wordless Wednesday. Since this week is the start of What a Waste Wednesday I decided to move some things around on my site. I am also going to be switching up my page layout on Tuesday. I am so excited it is going to look much more put together. I did not really think that this blogging thing was going to work out for me but boy was I wrong.

F*c*En love Halloween.....

Yeah this is my favorite friggin holiday....really....go figure. I have always loved it...I will always love it and I know my daughter will love it.  Yesterday we started doing some decorating and went to pick up some pumpkins...Yo! Now.... I am not going to butcher and gut their brains out this year I am going to go all Martha Stewart crafty on their asses and make them sparkle and shine. I do not know YET what I will be doing but it involves glue, glitter and wine so you know my little pumpkins will be rockin' their orange asses off.  It has been so much fun seeing LDG's expressions and reactions to all the creepy things mommy has been taking out of the attic...last year she was only 9 months so it didn't make sense...hell it probably makes no sense this year but she definitely is enjoying the decorations. Next week I am going to pick up her costume. Shit I was about to fork over $78.00 for her Red Riding Hood costume ... My hubby is like "Dude she is going to wear this for a few hours, on one night then she will snot on it and the dogs are going to end up puking on it...So WHY are you thinking about spending that much on a costume?".  OK you suck I said to him *was about to stick tongue out at him, yes I turned 5*  I stopped myself - so proud pat pat -  because decided I was going to stick this damn budget thing out.

So for your viewing pleasure check out some of the pics from yesterday. Happy Sunday!
I looooveee you little pumpkin

When did it become........

OK for the groom to be involved in the choosing of the bridal gown? Did I miss something or when did men become so...so....not men? I mean I was cruising the TV channels to see what was on {800 channels and never anything on} when I stopped on whatever TLC's buy a wedding dress show was on - I think it was Atlanta and here is this Douchy McDoucheson telling his soon to be wife that she looks like shit in her dress even though she looked stunning - {his was a nicer version but I would have more respect for the dude if he was straight up with her}. I do not get it WHY is he there? I am not one for the ultra traditional matrimony customs type of gal  - whatever floats your boat,  but this one bugs the shit out of me. Porquoi?  Because your a friggin dude and seeing you slumped over in a creme chair at a bridal salon among lace and silk just does not add up. Also you are sitting there giving your 2 cents on a gown  - you see sexy bride,  your STBW wants understated elegance or princess{pfft hate that word}. When did dudes become so involved in the whole wedding process? When is "metro sexual" to "metro sexual"? I mean really..... you want to pick out wedding favors, deal with bitchy bridesmaids and have to listen to your fiancee complain about seating arrangements. Why aren't you watching football, or throwing a football or fixing a car? Helping and supporting your STBW  fine being up your brides ass about every detail so not! I am pretty sure I am going to get my teeth kicked in for this one...but I need my man to be a man and not some overly obnoxious teen age girl getting ready for their first formal. Geeze!

Woooof I feel better now.....

Feeling the love......
