Pffftttt.......

So this morning I woke up and watched the news which I really need to stop doing. As my blurry eyes begin to focus on the screen I am greeted with this news line and this LOvely shot.......

People are already camping out in front of stores to snag Black Friday deals

WTF

What the hell is wrong with this picture..... 4....4 friggin days away then people wonder why I have total bad taste in my mouth for this time of year because when I see shit like this is makes me crazy...The deals are NOT that great people they are not.....Do some homework and you can get the same shit on line for the same if not less expensive. This is the time of year where you should be enjoying your family not the local Best Buy.

Can someone please explain to me why...WHY????

I think you could work 4 days and make a lot more money than you can "save" on Black Friday.

My SIL got us a GPS on year for Christmas that she saved $70 on BF.

THe thing can't direct you out the driveway!

Black Friday savings are not that good at all. They sell a not so great model at a hell of a discount and mark down their best items marginally. They hope that the masses decide to upgrade their purchases (which many of them do)

Totally it is just unbelievable that some people still believe that they get deals. And how the hell is it any fun when their are crowds everywhere

Take a good look at those people camping out, they're the same ones who will be trampled to death by the people who arrived 1/2 hour before they open the doors. I hope they enjoyed their last four days of life outside the damn Best Buy - Dummies

I'm in Canada and the retailers here are starting to pull the same Black Friday crap even though there isn't even a holiday to go with it! Unless I'm about to buy a mattress set, bedroom set or entire home theatre system, the savings are just not worth my sanity.

I heard on the radio yesterday someone yammering on about how mascara was "only" $12 at Sephora so we should all rush down to the mall for the Black Friday sales. I don't buy mascara that's more than $10 in the first place and I certainly wouldn't get in my car, circle a parking lot for a half hour and then beat through crowds of people to save a few dollars on make-up. Bizarre.

Yes so stupid! People were waiting in line like a week before up here. I will have to admit I went out on Thanksgiving only to Target to get a new TV for the kids'playroom, I did get a good deal and it wasn't that bad but that's the only thing I bought. I didn't see any other great deals where I just had to buy stuff. I think they should not be able to camp out and I also think they should not be able to be open on Turkey day. It's hard enough for familys to get together...

Yeah I don't get it either! They do that here, the day after Christmas people are back to the stores shopping. I like to stay away from everything for a good week if I can...
